Is it really free?
Yes. No cost, no card, no obligation. We do it because it teaches us how businesses actually run, what owners are running into, and which tools we ought to be building to help businesses run better. Some owners who see the whole picture ask us to help fix what is in it.
Is my business even big enough for this?
The diagnostic is built for owner-run businesses doing roughly $1M to $20M a year. The bigger the business, the more history and detail there is to work with, and the more this turns up. It is less effective for a smaller business without much history behind it, but we are happy to give it a shot and tell you straight whether it was worth your time.
Do I have to change accountants or software?
No. Keep your CPA, keep QuickBooks, keep your bookkeeper. We work inside what you already have. Tax and audit work stays with your accountant, every time.
Are you a CPA?
No, we refer all year end tax filings to your CPA, or we point you to our own book of referral partners.
Who sees my books?
Only the person doing the review. We do not store or send your data anywhere it isn't safe. We also do not disclose any confidential information in any marketing material. All the information found in the report is yours to keep.
How long does the whole thing take?
About 15 minutes to get us access. We take it from there and are usually back to you inside a week, with 30 minutes on the calendar to go through what we found.
What happens after the call?
We send over all our findings in a full length report, and slides. At the end we include recommendations on action items from the findings. You can either implement them yourself, or use us to implement them.
