13-week cash flow forecast template. See the shortfall early.

The same workbook we set up with every Advisory client. Plan cash in and out for the next 13 weeks, check it against the bank every Monday, and see your lowest week before you get there.

Six tabs. You type in three

The Forecast tab with illustrative numbers. Ending cash drops to $87,000 in week 6, under a $100,000 minimum, and you can see it six weeks out. The template ships blank.

  • Read Me: The setup steps and the weekly routine, inside the file.
  • Settings: Four inputs: your business name, the Week 1 date, your bank balance, and the minimum cash you never want to dip below.
  • Forecast: Thirteen weekly columns of cash in and cash out, entered in the week the money actually moves.
  • Actuals: Last week’s real numbers, straight from bank activity.
  • Variance: Actual against forecast, so you can see which assumptions were wrong.
  • Dashboard: Your lowest projected balance, the week it lands, and how much cushion you have against your minimum.

About 30 minutes a week

Rather not set it up alone? Book a free 15-minute call and we’ll set it up with you: your bank balance, your payroll weeks, and your biggest bills.

  • Enter last week’s actual cash in and out, straight from the bank.
  • Check the Variance tab. Fix any assumption that missed by a lot.
  • Update the weeks ahead: new invoices, payments that are slipping, bills you didn’t expect.
  • Roll forward. Week 1 becomes this week, and you add a new Week 13.
